We are currently seeking multiple Landscape/Outdoor Construction Laborers to join our team. Our company-owned property in Odessa, Florida serves as the primary worksite, where we manage and maintain all landscaping, construction, and site development projects.

• Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• $18.00/Hour (Starting Rate)
• Overtime availability (1.5x Normal Pay)

Job Description

• Day-to-Day tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Run and install PVC piping for irrigation systems and drainage
• Plant trees, shrubs, and flowers, ensuring proper planting techniques and care
• Build and maintain planter walls, utilizing various materials and construction techniques.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mulching, weeding, and pruning
• Assist in the construction of landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare sites for planting and construction by clearing debris and leveling ground.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50-100 pounds, on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and bending throughout the workday.
• Capability to perform repetitive tasks such as digging, raking, and shoveling.
• Comfortable working at various heights, such as climbing ladders or working on uneven terrain.
• Manual dexterity for using tools and operating machinery.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Exposure to dust, dirt, and loud noises from equipment.
• Frequent work on uneven or slippery surfaces, such as dirt, grass, or rocks.
• Potentially working around hazardous materials or chemicals, such as pesticides or fertilizers.

Safety Requirements:

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety goggles, and ear protection.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and regulations, such as OSHA standards.
• Ability to recognize and report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.

Additional Skills:

• Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques (planting, mulching, trimming).
• Familiarity with construction tasks, such as paving, masonry, or irrigation.
• Ability to operate landscaping and construction equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and excavators.
• Strong communication skills for working in teams and understanding instructions.
• Bilingual - Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus, though not required.
